Born in Rotorua and raised in OPOTIKI I am married with 3 young children Hirina 9, Bailee 6 and Ricco who attend Opotiki Primary.  Having lived here most my life I enjoy all the comforts and pleasures Opotiki has to offer.
Mostly I enjoy spending time with Whānau doing all the fun stuff such as camping, swimming, bush walks, fishing and bike rides - we are very lucky to have access to our beautiful beaches and bush.

I have worked within the Opotiki and Eastern Bay region for the past 7 years and most recently working with Whakaatu Whānaunga Trust, Housing Innovations.  I was coordinator of HNZC Welcome Home First Steps Education Program for 2.5 years working with Whānau within our Eastern Bay (Ruatahuna to Whangaparoa) area.  We provided knowledge, education, support and follow up towards HOME OWNERSHIP.

I am passionate about working with Whānau in our community and, in some way, making a difference for our people.
