I am born & raised in Ōpotiki as is my wife Maude. The environment to grow myself up in & to raise our children is unbelievable. The resources we have at our back door are amazing. Get out there whānau & enjoy.
I have been married for 11 years, but in a relationship with my second wife for 18 years. We have 3 boys & 3 girls aged from 27 to 8 years of age, with plenty of experience & still room to learn in raising a family from being benefit dependant to becoming a semi self-sufficient whānau.
I am a registered Social worker for the last 24 months. I have been involved with Social Work for the past 8 years in various roles as a Living Without Violence Facilitator a Family Start Worker a Social Worker in Schools a SAGES & Whānau Ora Team Leader  & now currently the Kaiarahi Oranga for the Whānau Ora Team.
I have worked throughout our community prior to Social Work in the Dairy Factory as a Māori Carver; hence the Profile Photo in the Kiwifruit orchards and Pack Shed’s as a Bee Keeper, a Store man for Farmlands & now a Social Worker.
I am passionate about supporting our community & look forward to meeting & sharing information to uplift our Whānau, Hapū me ngā Iwi kātoa.
