Arihia has worked in an administration role since 1992 commencing in Kohanga Reo and moving through to Social and Health Services administration and now with Te Ao Hou Trust.

Arihia has held School Trustee roles, Executive Committee Treasury and Secretarial roles and is a current  Marae Trustee.

Arihia has commenced papers in Diploma of Business Administration with Open Polytechnic.
